Similarities, Differences, and Advantages of Double Admission and Bridge Courses

What is a double admission?

First, say double admission. The so-called double admission, as the name implies, means that students get two admission notices at the same time when they are taken from the list 美国大学排名. What is a bridge course?

Besides bridge courses, there are also shortcut courses or credit courses. General English is called bridge program or path program. In general, the orientation and goals of this course are similar to those mentioned above, but there are differences.

First of all, the duration of the double-entry courses at the language stage is not fixed, and the length of the language for the students’ needs to be determined according to the level of English at the time of entry. The general duration of the bridge course is pre-designed, for example, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, etc. After reading it, it is just the main lesson that connects the latter.

Secondly, the content of double admission courses at the language stage is single, pure language training, while the contents of bridge courses are not only part of the language courses, but also part of the credit courses of the university, which means that students are reading bridge courses. During the course, as long as the credit courses pass the exam, the credits of this course can be brought into the main course, and the corresponding time will reduce the time required to complete the main course.

For a simple understanding, the bridge course is an upgraded version of the double admission.
